It's the Lord's Battle

The eternal God is your refuge, And underneath are the everlasting arms; He will thrust

out the enemy from before you, And will say, ‘Destroy!’ Deuteronomy 33:27

Today you may be surrounded by many battles and you are filled with fear and your heart is 

troubled. Dear Child of God do not be afraid as you are not alone in this, the Lord of Hosts is

fighting for you! He will grant you victory and never put you to shame.

 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the

 rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Eph 6: 12

So it's only the Lord who can help us in fighting all our battles and crush the head of the enemy.

“Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation 

of the Lord with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out

 against them: for the Lord will be with you.” 2 Chronicles 20:17

Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord

our God. Psalm 20:7

Psalm 73:26 - My flesh and my heart may fail but God is the strength of my

heart and my portion forever

The Lord will avenge all our enemies, vengeance belongs to him. As we start praising God he will 

do great wonders in our life. He will clothe your enemies with shame.

So let's Praise God and he will grant us victory in all our battles. 

When the King of Aram sent his army to capture Elisha in Dothan, this is what the servant who 

was with Elisha witnessed,

And Elisha prayed, “Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the

servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around

Elisha.

This is how the Lord protects those who love him!

For I,’ says the LORD, ‘will be a wall of fire all around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.’ 

Zechariah 2:5

If the ways of a man please the Lord he will even keep his enemies to be at peace with

him.

So Dear child of God, Remember our God is a great God and you don't have to worry about the 

wicked enemies that you have to face on a daily basis, The Lord of Hosts is with us, The God of 

Jacob is our refuge.

 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in

 judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness

 is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

11“ Behold, all those who were incensed against you Shall be ashamed and disgraced;

They shall be as nothing, And those who strive with you shall perish.

12You shall seek them and not find them—Those who contended with you.

Those who war against you Shall be as nothing, As a nonexistent thing.

13For I, the Lord your God, will hold your right hand,

Saying to you, ‘Fear not, I will help you.’  Isaiah 41: 11 -13

God who Protects us like an Eagle

 

Let me take you through the interesting story of the Eagle. Eagles usually build their nests in lofty

places. She builds the nest on the cliff of rock. She builds it with sticks and twigs and upon it, she

layers it with prickly thorns and then overlays the thorns with soft materials for the eggs to rest on. 

As soon as the eaglets hatch mama eagle provides them food and nourishes them from time to time. 

But she only does so until the tiny wings grow but they're still not strong and big enough for flying.

But when they get to a point where they are strong enough for flying she removes all the cushiony

soft material that they're resting on and now the eaglets would be pricked by the thorns and she less

frequently visits them with food. But she keeps observing them from a far distance.

The Eaglets go through a very hard time and they have to decide between remaining to stay in the

nest or jump off the cliff and fall deep down into the valley. But the pricks from the thorns are a real

torment, making it uncomfortable for them to stay in the nest.

Probably they think, Why has Mama Eagle abandoned me? I'm dying of hunger pangs, Where are

you, Mama? They would feel it’s better to die once and for all by falling down than experiencing the

horrible pricks of these thorns. But Mama Eagle only does so because the Eaglets would get used to

the coziness of the nest and wouldn't learn how to soar high up in the sky.

Just as they jump off the cliff and are about to crash deep down into the valley, Mama eagle swoops

down and carries them all on her wings.

Sometimes we may wonder, Has God forgotten me? Has the Lord forsaken me? But God is trying to

teach us something through the trials that we go through. Beyond the obvious and the unseen he has a

beautiful plan for us, His plans for us that we should prosper and grow in life with him and not perish.

We discover our unrealized potential only when we go through trials and difficulties.

Let's Praise and thank God not only for the Blessings but also for the Burdens that we go through

because we will come out stronger than ever before by his grace and mercy!!

Faith can move Mountains!

 

Right from my childhood, I remember kneeling down and seeking the Lord for all my needs

and believing in faith that all my needs will be met at the right time, God was never late.

Now, this is the confidence that we have in Him, That if we ask anything according to his will,

he hears us 1John 5:14

And sometimes God was also doing the right thing by not giving me certain things that I asked for

because he knows that would not be the best thing for me.

So we have a God who honors our faith and provides all our needs. In times of sickness, pain, 

Financial crisis, God has never let me down. 

I also pray and wish that you walk in the increase of God's blessings upon your life. 

But here's the real challenge, persevering in the midst of trying times, when all hope is lost, even

when you can't comprehend why the Lord is leading you through a rough and stormy sea.

And all the circumstances surrounding you tell you a different story from what you've been trying 

to believe in faith the whole time and telling yourself that this is not the end! And still trusting God

through it all is 'True Faith'.

Our faith must be anchored to the Lord irrespective of the fiery trials that we go through, knowing 

and trusting in him that he will never forsake us. We have an unchanging God, A foundation so sure,

He is an unwavering constant friend and guide. He is the author and finisher of our faith.

Sometimes when we experience loss or things don't happen the way we wanted them to be.

It would seem like God has given up on us and forsaken us. And it looks like the devil is winning. 

Still, we should have an unshakeable trust in him, knowing that his will is perfect! 

During the course of waiting for a miracle, We should not lose our heart and be filled with fear 

or discouragement but instead draw encouragement from the past experiences of how God has led 

us in times of difficulty and give thanks to him for how he has led us thus far without forsaking 

us in times of trouble. His presence will fill your heart when you seek him and continue to trust him.

...lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen. Matthew 28:20

Read his precious word and listen to his precious word,

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Pray without ceasing and hold on to God during trying and testing times.

Surrender ourselves to the will of God, As we keep our eyes fixed on him he will strengthen us and

never fail us. He will bear us in his arms of love and bring us safely through any kind of 

trial that we may be facing.

The Lord is always there beside us, to give us constant victory, When we Just walk in Faith!!!

Motherly Love and Care of God

 "Can a woman forget her sucking child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne?"

Isaiah 49:15

The Lord has graven us in the palms of his hands and he is watching over us continually, As a 

Mother would, when she is taking care of her little baby. The baby is dependant on the mother for

nourishment, protection, care and love. She remains vigilant all the time and takes care of all the

needs of the little baby. She remains super alert all the time, even during her sleep. All her thoughts

will be surrounding the little baby. But even a mother may forget her suckling child. But the Lord 

never forgets us

....Thou shalt not be forgotten of me Isaiah 44:21

Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me

Isaiah 49:16

He carries us in his arms of love and he does not slumber nor sleep. He is the God who keeps

watching over us every single moment.

For I, saith the Lord will be a wall of fire round about and will be the glory in the midst of her 

Zechariah 2:5

When we are in times of trouble and there is no one to comfort us, The Lord comforts us like a loving

Mother would do in times of trouble. 

As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you... Isaiah 66:13

The Lord protects us under the shelter of his wings,

For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. Psalm 91: 11

God instructs us to walk in the right path, as a mother would do

And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye 

turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:21

He provides all our needs and fills us with his goodness,

Who satisfies your mouth with good things, So that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

He provides all our needs and blesses us abundantly, He protects us and He is very compassionate 

and forgiving

He will again have compassion on us; And will subdue our iniquities. You will cast all our sins into

the depths of the sea Micah 7:19 

 

He hears our cry when we call out to Him in our distress,

The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry; Psalm 34:15

He also disciplines us and corrects us, A good mother would also correct her child when he/she does

something wrong and lead them in the right path. 

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go; I will guide thee with my eye.

Psalm 32:8

The Lord encourages us and makes us strong,

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will 

help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. Isaiah 41:10

The Lord Loves us with an everlasting love,

The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love:

therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.

He gathers us safe into his arms of love and surrounds us with His unchanging love like a 

loving mother. We can always lean on his arms and be sure that his tender mercies and unchanging 

grace will rest upon our heads forever and ever!!

Lift your wings of Prayer and Praise

Today you may be experiencing hellfire and it looks like there's no way out of this. Probably

you just feel like curling up on your bed in fear and sinking your head into the pillow not knowing

what to do. Praising God is a game-changer, It can move mountains, break the walls of Jericho 

sooner than you think. You might think "I'm experiencing the worst day of my life, feeling so 

bitter and heavy" how can I Praise God at this moment? Fear is just gripping me and making 

me feel so weak, I'm sapped out of all my strength! Moses was finding it so hard to kneel

and keep praising God, it would have hurt him really bad. And Aaron had to support him to lift 

his hand and Praise God. When you're kneeling and lifting your hands to praise God.

You're fighting a battle in the spiritual realm. And every time Moses put his hands down the 

Israelites were losing the battle. And finally, the battle was won because of Praising God!

I can assure you that a moment of Praising can work signs and wonders than just sinking in fear

crying and murmuring. We might think, I'm just tired of all the battles! they keep surrounding me

one or the other, Not a moment of rest. But Praising God can turn everything around for your 

good!

You may be walking in perilous valleys or surrounded by adversity all around. But,  Praising God 

will fill you with tremendous mighty power and change your life and deliver you from all your

problems.

We also read In the Bible that Paul and Silas were  Praising God when they were chained in prison 

and they were delivered, perhaps today you are in a bound state and your situation looks like there's 

no way out, But God will make a way when there seems to be no way when you start praising him. 

Even when you feel lonely, even when you feel afraid, even when you are at your weakest, even

when you feel there's no hope, even when you are faced with financial difficulties, Even when the 

adversaries surrounding you have spoken venomous words against you,  Even when you 

think, Is Praising God going to help me in any way at all? Still Praise God and experience his 

saving power!! 

Blessings come down when the praises go up, every closed-door or lost opportunity,

praise can break open  the gates of iron and brass and give you your miracle. If you’re totally broke

and depressed crying your

heart out is not the solution, Praising is the only way you can obtain a great deliverance.

Praising God will destroy and uproot all the works of the enemy, No matter what obstacle the evil 

one has set up against you and is keeping you out of the choicest blessings that God has kept in 

store for you, You can destroy the works of the evil one by shouting the praises of God!!

God will fight all your battles and grant you victory as you praise him! Praise restores everything that

the enemy has taken from you, A life of praise also brings abundant prosperity. Sing praises to God 

with all of your body, soul and spirit. Darkness, sickness, pain, poverty everything will flee as you

praise God. 

Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I shew the 

salvation of God. Psalm 50:23

God will arise and mete out justice and fight on the behalf of those who seek him. His presence will

surround you as you praise and glorify him. He is a God who dwells among praises. When his 

presence fills your heart all your problems will flee away. Sing songs of praise and exalt his name on 

high with all your heart. As you keep praising God all the darkness weighing you down will 

flee and an indescribable joy will fill your heart.

You can be transformed through the Power of the Holy Spirit

It’s not by might, It’s not by power but by my Spirit says the Lord of hosts.’ Zechariah 4:6

The Holy Spirit fills us with a mighty anointing and supernatural strength. He was the mighty force

behind the partition of the Red Sea, He was the reason why Elijah could outrun the chariots of King

 Ahab. He was the reason behind Joshua’s mighty strength. He was the reason behind Samson's 

Supernatural strength who could break the gates of brass!

The Holy Spirit arms us with his mighty strength and helps us walk in victory. He is our comforter

and guide, He helps us in our weakness when we do not know what to pray about, He searches the

deep things of God and He makes intercession for us with groanings that cannot be uttered. He helps

us to live a holy life, He guides us into all truth. He convicts us of all our sins and shortcomings and

helps us to live an overcoming life.

Whenever we are burdened by troubles and the weight of the yoke is pressing down on us,

The Spirit of the Lord will break our yoke and set us free as we commit our Body, Soul and Spirit

to be filled with his presence. He will protect us from all the attacks of the enemy. He will strengthen our 

Inner man and help us to be bold, fearless and strong.

We do not have to be afraid of any evil that might cause us harm,

When the enemy comes in like a flood the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him. 

Isaiah 59:19

He is a consuming fire, His fiery anointing will transform us and he will help us to walk in the ways of

God. He will fill our hearts with peace.

The Fruits of the Spirit are,

Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

The Holy Spirit will mortify the deeds of the flesh, so we can live an holy and blameless life 

before God.

For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who

live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit Romans 8:5

The Holy Spirit will guide us in every circumstance,

"And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye 

turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left."—Isaiah 30:21.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.

Psalm 32:8

The Holy Spirit will comfort us in times of difficulty he will strengthen us when we are weary,

fill us with hope, encourages us and consoles us.

So let us give room for the Holy Spirit to take over our lives and transform us!

Power of the Word of GOD

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. 

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they

were moved by the Holy Ghost. 2 Peter 1:20-21

Through all ages Word of God has been a source of inspiration. God speaks to his people

through his precious word. He comforts, cleanses, corrects, heals, protects, encourages,

provides guidance through his precious word. God's word is sweeter than honey, His precious 

word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path. It fills us with hope and joy. It gives us 

instruction so that we can order our steps in the right way.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God. And is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,

for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

That the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work 2 Timothy 3:16,17

Let me take you through a story of a man named William Tyndale also called the 

'Father of the English Bible'. He was a graduate of Oxford and Cambridge. He translated

the Bible from Greek to English in a time when translating Bibles were illegal. The fact that 

we have an English Bible to read was largely because of his efforts. But sadly he was strangled

and burnt alive at the young age of 42 years after being tried and convicted of heresy. His 

only offense was 'translating the Greek Bible into English'. 

Many precious people of God have laid down their lives so that all people can come to the

knowledge of the truth.  So let's take an effort to read God's word every day!

We are what we are today only by His precious word. 

Because, Man cannot live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out of the

mouth of God.

His words of life can lift us out of the darkest pit and set us high on a rock.

This is the comfort in my affliction, for Your word has given me life Psalm 119:50

The Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God is the greatest weapon by which we can

overcome the attacks of the enemy.

When we speak his words of life, it is able to heal and repair every situation that is broken in 

our lives. In every aspect, his word provides us knowledge and guidance about what we should 

do as the word of God is a discerner of the thoughts and the intents of the heart. 

For the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing

even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts 

and intents of the heart Hebrews 4:12

When you put your trust in his precious word you don't have to fear anything as,

Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in him. Proverbs  30:5

Your faith will grow stronger as you hear his word!

So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God Romans 10:17

And the implanted word of God is able to save our souls, As we keep meditating and recalling 

God's word in our minds, it starts working in our lives.

18“Therefore you shall [h]lay up these words of mine in your heart and in your soul, and bind

them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 19You shall teach

them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way,

when you lie down, and when you rise up. 20And you shall write them on the doorposts of your 

house and on your gates, 21that your days and the days of your children may be multiplied in the

land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give them, like the days of the heavens above the

earth. Deuteronomy 11:18-21

The works of your hands will be blessed when you meditate on his word,

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[a] shall meditate

 in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it.

 For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Joshua 1:8

2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his 

season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

So in every aspect of our life we find the truth, life and instruction that leads us in the 

right path and the Word of God is alive and powerful, It will set us free! 

So let's take time to read God's word every single day to release God's blessings into our 

life and draw closer to him each day!
