How to overcome negative thoughts??

 

Negative thoughts keep coming into our heads every single day, but we can't allow them to rest in our

heads and cause chaos within us. We need to keep our minds armed from the attacks of the enemy.

We need wear the Helmet of Salvation and work out our own salvation with fear and trembling.

The enemy whispers lies into our heads, which when we start believing could crush our spirits 

and we feel we can't wake up to face another day in our lives.

Confusion, despair, fear nothing can bring us down,  Because the King of Kings holds our future 

in his hands. 

Keep telling yourself the promises of God and all the negative thoughts tormenting you will 

disappear, all the voices telling you that it's over will fade away.

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones. Proverbs 17:22

Meditate on the Word of God, this means that you need to constantly keep repeating the word 

of God in your head. Say when you think ' I can't go on anymore, I'm weak and weary.'

The Reassuring promise of God will strengthen you, Fear not, for I am with you, Be not 

dismayed for I am thy God, I will strengthen you, yea I will help you, I will uphold you with

the right hand of my righteousness."

You need to counter every negative thought with God's promises and strongly refuse to believe a lie 

because we read that,

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to

harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

Painful experiences from the past, Heaven knows what you've been through, You're even scared

to disclose it to someone, You're so afraid that if someone heard they would leave you. So you 

battle it out all on your own.

Give your broken mind to Jesus, Only he can mend your broken heart and mind! 

Trust and let go of all your negative thoughts to Jesus, Nothing can harm you when you're 

safely guarded in his arms of love.
